This
is our baby Marmie. "Marmie" is a nickname for Marmalade. We think
she looks like orange marmalade. We found Marmie outside a Chinese
restaurant about two years ago, and we adopted her and she has been the
greatest cat ever. She is so lovable, and she does not realize she is a
cat! She thinks she is a people-person! She sits at the table with us
and sleeps with us. Sometimes she runs around with my husband's dentures
in her mouth. It's so funny!! Her favorite food is pop rocks candy. One
time she ate a little too much pop rocks, and she had to go to the vet.
She was acting sad with a tummy ache for weeks after that, but we knew
just how to cheer her up. Her favorite thing to do in the whole wide
world is to dress up in her Santa costume. So we put her in it, even
though it wasn't Christmas!! It was July!! (Don't tell Marmie!!) Then we
sang to her favorite song... "I saw Marmie kissing Santa Claus"
