This
is my cat Nike. He was originally adopted as a stray by our
neighbor, but quickly decided he would rather live with us. When our
neighbor moved we adopted him. My husband and I start every morning with
a latte and the morning news, Nike started coming in and begging for the
foam off of my husband's latte. I tried giving Nike his own little dish
of milk foam but he would only lick the foam if it was delivered on a
human finger... Picky, picky (or should I say spoiled rotten!).
Tragically, our dear Nike was attacked and killed by a dog on December
4, 1999. Our morning routine will never be the same. We have recently
started trying to train another of our cats, Gilda, to join us for foam
but so far she has been very uncooperative. Nike provided us so much joy
and entertainment we truly miss him, luckily we have three other fur
children that need our love and attention.
