Jasmine
has become a member of our family; we even call her "the
baby." She patiently waits for her food each morning. If we
oversleep, she will come into our room and sleep with us until we are
ready to rise. She is an excellent mouser, and is so proud of her
catches, that she holds them in her mouth, swinging them from side to
side, until we notice. She is so smart that she even "tells"
us when her litter box needs changing by meowing, walking down the
steps, then stopping to ensure we follow her. We adopted her from the
local animal shelter and we're glad we did - she has brightened our
lives considerably.
