Although
my fifteen-year-old dog Jinks and I now have another, our favorite
cat, Gizmo, is no longer with us. Although no longer sharing my life, he
will always be in my heart. He loved to ride on your shoulders and when
he was in "the mood for love" he would place both feet on your shoulders
and "pet" your face with one of his paws.
His favorite thing was licking my nose at 3 o'clock in the morning, just
so he could be petted! If I was relaxing on the couch, Jinks would be
playfully swatted (Giz was always careful to miss!) if he strolled too
close to where we were on the way to his towel.
