This
is Luther (aka Luthie, Dr. Vonthuler, Wu). We adopted him from a
litter of fluffy kittens because he was the cutest...a white ruff and
silky fur. He used to get beat up by our other kitten Cosmo, who had a
few weeks on him and liked to play rough. Now, Luther outweighs Cosmo
by more than a few pounds and usually wins the wrestling matches. As
Luther got older, bigger, and more exotic looking, we knew he must be
a special breed. When we came across a picture of a Norwegian Forest
Cat, we knew that was it. Luther loves water and likes to be towel
dried after a good rain. His coat is so thick we figure he doesn't
really get wet anyway. His undercoat gets curly and he needs a darn
good brushing everyday. He pretends not to like it but then he'll flop
over and show you his big belly. He loves to play with his toy mouse
and when he gets a new one, the tail is the first to go. He hates the
neighbor cats and is sometimes known as Fierce Wu. But he's afraid of
strangers! If the door bell rings, he's out the cat door in two seconds.
Luther's best friend is his redhead brother Cosmo, but he thinks his
newly adopted sister Bunny is way too bossy. You can see Luthie's

truly a unique cat and as we like to say, "there's just something
about Luther."
