This
is Bailey. She was adopted at nine years of age from a home which was
proving to be too stressful for her delicate sensibilities. She used to
live with a menagerie of other cats, dogs, skunks, and ferrets. When
adopted in Nov '99, she had a patch on her back where she had been tearing
out her beautiful fur. She now shares her house with only two other cats
and two people. All of the fur has finally returned to her little bald
spot. Bailey weighs in at a voluptuous 12.6 pounds and outweighs her
brother and sister by 5.4 and 4.4 pounds, respectively. Bailey's favorite
activities include napping, eating(!!), and "singing" every morning
starting with practicing her scales at 4:55 am. Not only has Bailey settled
in to her new family nicely, she now competes with her older, more
established brother and sister for the affections of the people... and
often wins!
