Hi
there! My cat is called Okki, he's three and a half year old
champagne-coloured domestic shorthair, and he lives near York, England. I
think he's special because last year he sustained an injury to his jaw and
was on antibiotics for several months and was really suffering but came
through alright. He's also a good example of why I think a pet owner should
always get a second opinion before allowing a vet to perform any serious
surgery - because that's what one vet wanted to do, but it turned out all
Okki needed was a different antibiotic! I think - in non-straightforward
cases at least - you should always get a second opinion rather than just
agree to what the first vet wants to do.
