Cali
is a five-year old longhaired Calico who lives in North St.
Petersburg, Florida near a duck pond. Her favorite pastime is to announce
the arrival of ducks at the pond by thumping her tail and
"squeaking" loudly. She loves to snuggle with our leather shoes
when we come home from work at night. She rewards us by lining up socks by
the front door when we come home from work. During the night, she awakes us
with more rewards -- a toy "Rugrat" and stuffed calico cat placed
on our pillows. If we spell the word "T-U-N-A" -- she knows what
it means and makes a dash for her food bowl. Her warmth, affection,
companionship and vocalworks make her a beloved household member.
