Theo
was sent to me after my beloved all grey domestic cat passed away
Spike. I was very apprehensive getting a cat this way but I read about
the characteristic's of the Chartreux breed and they sounded so much
like my cat Spike who passed away. He was flown from Texas to San
Francisco to meet me. When I picked him up from the airport he was in
the cat carrier and I couldn't believe my eyes. He was so beautiful and
he was rubbing his face against the carrier bars and purring. It was
love at first sight. When I brought him home the breeder said that he
may be a little scared and hide under the bed but he never hide once. It
was almost like he had been here before and he quickly covered every
square inch of my apartment. I didn't know how Theo and I were going to
get along but we have become very good buddies. I can't seem to restrain
myself from petting him for more than five minutes. His breed the Chartreux
is supposed to be mute but Theo's meow box works very well. He is many
things shy at times, very loving at other times and also independent. He
sleeps with me on the bed by my side in this bunny rabbit position quite
often. There is nothing more adorable when he is in a loving mood and he
looks up at you with those gorgeous harvest moon eyes. Melt, Melt!!!
