This
is Bear. He was a gift from friends when he was just 8 weeks old.
As you can see, his eyes are as big and blue as the sky. Sometimes they
get really round like when he sees the vacuum cleaner, his most feared
enemy; and then other times they become almond-shaped, like when he's
busy being perfect and charming while shredding my couch. Bear is a
completely self-indulgent cat (aren't they all!). His favorite pastimes
are eating tuna - which he can consume in gigantic quantities, foraging
for food from neighbors and chasing lizards. Bear also loves to go
visiting, and when he discovers a neighbor's door is open, he ventures
in to check things out. Some of my favorite times with Bear are during
his morning antics. His goal is to be as cute as he can to lure me from
my comfy bed and let him out the window for his morning devotions with
the local bird life. Overall, Bear is the most charming, delightful cat
I've ever had.
