Ellie
the kitty was found swimming in Lake El Estero on Christmas night.
We scooped her up from the cold lake, filled her skinny tummy with food,
and gave her a warm place to live with my wife and son. She is a new
kitty now. We love her very much and always think about that time that
she almost drowned, and we cringe at the thought. We think she is
special to have endured that trauma on that night. We named her Ellie
after the lake "Lake Elliestero." Ellie is very sleek and
fast. She darts around the house like a Cheetah and attacks us with her
paws when we least expect it. She has a fascination with our windows
screen saver, she loves watching the text dance around on the screen.
Her favorite toy is her orange teddie bear. She periodically licks and
cleans it like it is her baby. I guess you can tell, we love our Ellie
very much. She is very special to us.
