Bobcat
was dropped off at the local animal shelter by an elderly lady
who had started feeding him when he showed up as a stray at her place in
Star Tannery, Virginia. He moved in with her and her German Shepherd and
all was well until he started bringing her critters to express his
appreciation. She couldn't handle the gifts (no pun intended) so he
ended up at the shelter. My wife and I had never adopted an adult cat,
however Bob won our heart because he purrs so loudly it rattles the
windows. He also talks up a storm. You can hear him coming from half a
block away, and every time you say his name, he answers. As you can
tell by the picture, he has learned to relax around our three other cats
and two dogs.
