This
is our nine-year-old Tabby cat, Daisey. Daisey is a loving, yet
very laid back cat. She usually lounges around by our pool and loves the
Florida sun. Tolerance is Daisey's strongest attribute because she puts
up with our two year old cat who swats at her, takes her toys and steals
her treats. She hardly ever howls or cries, so when she does, everyone
listens. We listened very carefully to Daisey one night and she saved us
from what could have been a horrible experience.
Our family used to live in New York, just outside of Manhattan. One
night a man tried to enter our home through a window while everyone was
sleeping. Daisey was staring at the window as she was pawing at me,
howling and crying. I looked towards the window and saw what Daisey was
seeing. Needless to say I screamed my head off, woke everyone up and
scared off the burglar. The policemen were telling us how lucky we were
to have such a smart cat. We thought we were taking care of Daisey when
in truth she was watching over us. Daisey was, and still is, our
guardian angel.
