This
is the newest addition to our cat family, and her name is Lady Jane
Grey. She lives in Los Angeles with her brother and sisters (Peach, Lulu
and Squeak), and was found two months ago abandoned under a truck when
she was just eight weeks old. Known as the Purr Machine when she is
happy which is almost all the time, Jane has taken to emulating
everything her older siblings do, and also being a typical kitten -
which includes mad dashes around the bed covers to chase my foot, racing
up to the top of the highest tree in our yard and just as quickly racing
back down, planning a "sneak" attack on poor, beleaguered
Peach (who is so good with her, even when she is jumping on his
back at all hours!), and following her new and loving Mom around
everywhere she goes. She is healthy, she is happy, and she is so very
loved by all of us --- what a wonderful gift she has been!
