My
favorite cat of the four who live here is Callie. She's a two year
old Calico female and she lives in Sonora, California. When my daughter
came to live with us, she brought her two cats. We live in the country
where there are lots of coyotes. One disappeared and I felt so bad
because my daughter was so sad. Soon after I saw Callie, as a wee
kitten in a box in front of WalMart. I picked her up and our hearts
bonded. She came home with me as a replacement for the cat that my
daughter lost. When my daughter was ready to move out, my husband said,
"Callie, stays here." I was surprised, but glad. My daughter
had mixed emotions, but couldn't take her because she was moving into an
apartment. It's difficult to find a good rental that accepts animals.
Callie has such an adorable face that my heart melts every time I see
her.
