is a picture of my cat, Jack. He is almost four years old, and he
is a male, non-pedigree domestic shorthair. We live in Lynbrook, NY.
Jack is special because he was presented to me as a throw-away,
dime-a-dozen cat that no one wanted. Yet, without any special pedigree,
he has lived his life not knowing that he is anything but a rare and
precious part of the family. He will do anything for popcorn, is
extremely extroverted and playful, and when he comes looking for
affection, you cannot help but forget your troubles. We cannot imagine
being without him.
