Kai
Lani was found as a stray on the beaches of Hawaii when he was
only two months old. His name is Hawaiian and stands for "Beautiful
Water". This picture was taken in Hawaii, but since then he has
moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Kai is a very playful cat and loves to
chase our laser pointer around the house. He's very jealous of the
computer and will jump in your lap, push your hand off the mouse,
and make you pet him instead of the mouse! At night he just can't stand
that we're asleep and not giving him attention, so he'll knock on the
closet doors, scratch the curtains, or play with anything that makes
noise to wake us up. Once we're awake, he'll jump on the bed, curl up
next to us, and wait for us to pet him. Quite annoying after the 2nd or
3rd time every night! Kai is a very loving cat and we're glad to have
rescued him from the beaches of Hawaii... although one might consider
that "catnapping" from the beaches of Hawaii!
