My
cat is Katana, she is one of my four kids here in Mount Prospect. She
is part Bengal cat and is just the best cat. I was at a local no kill
shelter, Save a Pet in Grays Lake, IL. I was standing next to a large
cage that had two cats in it, I was not looking for a new cat since I
had just put my favorite cat of twelve years to sleep some time prior. I
was there with some friends, and I felt something poke at my leg. I
looked down and there was this little white and gray face staring at me,
she had the largest ears I had ever seen! I just had to pick her up, she
rubbed on my face and purred and I just could not put her down, and
didn't care that she also has very large front feet because she has two
extra twos on each foot. My friends said that I was meant to have her,
so home she came! Since bringing her home she has acted so much like my
other cat it is unreal. She makes the same sounds and purrs like a motor
boat! She has slept on my head every night for the last two years and is
my perfect angel! She has welcomed three other cats into her home and
has acted like Mom to the smallest one. I believe strongly that she has
some if not all of the soul of my cat who passed away.
