My
name is Ariel and I'm an Abyssinian-cross. What this means is that
my mom is a very beautiful pedigree Abyssinian and my dad is the
neighbourhood tom! When my meowmie heard that my mommy was going to
have kittens who were going free to good homes, she decided that she
had to have one. She visited me and my three siblings and chose me, and a
week later I went home with her and my new daddy and got to meet my
new brofur, Tao!
We weren't very happy with each other at first, but Tao was lonely for
another cat friend (dogs just aren't the same!), and now we are best
buddies! He always tries to bath me (as if I were dirty!), and I usually
take offence and then we tussle. I am a very playful kitten, and I get
my kicks from playing with anything that looks interesting, but
especially my daddy's boots and the dried flower arrangement in the
lounge! I also love chasing the broom and tormenting the dogs by staring
out of the window at them. I love my litter tray and get very upset with
Meowmie when she cleans it. After she has invaded it I jump in
immediately afterwards and make it mine again! I have a very soft voice,
but this is more than made up for by my very loud purr. My daddy teases
me and says that I sound like a souped-up cam (whatever that is!). I
love to have my belly rubbed and I like to sleep on my back so that
everyone can admire how cute I am! I enjoy rubbing my face on people's
ears and chins, just to let them know how much I love them. I get lots
of attention from my meowmie and daddy, my granny and grandpa, and my
aunties, I really like it in my new home!
