Gizmo
is a 1-1/2 year old tuxedo domestic shorthair who came to live
with me and my other four cats in El Cajon, California, about a year
ago. He was about four months old then, in the bottom cage of a mall
pet store, and when his eyes met mine, we both knew he had found a new
home. Physically, Gizmo is very, very special - he has two extra toes
on each of his front paws, which he uses like thumbs. And every one of
his hairs is two-toned: white near the skin and black at the end.
Several things makes him special in other ways: (1) he is curious
about everything, and comes running to smell and/or look into any kind
of container with a lid that he can hear is being opened; and (2)
wherever my bedroom slippers are, during the day while I'm at work, he
drags them to the bedroom and lines them up side by side under the
bed!
He's a sweetie pie, and all the other cats in the family love him as
much as I do.
