Hi!
My name is Bunny Emerald. I have amazing green eyes that rival the
city of Oz. I sometimes answer to "Fun Bun" and "Bunny
Foof." Even though I'm not of rabbit origin, my humans have decided
I am a bunny at heart. I've also been compared to the Phantom of the
Opera because of my face markings. Which doesn't bother me one bit... I
am a big fan of the theater. During Christmas last year, my humans
discovered me hanging out on their back fence. I was hungry and scared
and nobody could get close to me, so they thought I was wild. But I
always ate the food they left out for me. I observed their two other boy
cats that got treated very well, so after careful analysis, I invited
myself into their lives. It's been about a year now, and I am a
permanent addition to the household. Because of my trauma, I prefer to
stay inside where it's safe. I use the cat door only to do my business,
then it's right back to the couch. If I'm gone for more than five
minutes, the humans will get worried. I love toys and playing soccer
with my catnip. I try to wrestle with my brothers Luther and Cosmo, but
they think my games are stupid. They're still mad because they were not
consulted before my move-in. Although every night we have a truce and
curl up on the humans' bed together.
It's amazing I was a flea-bitten, skinny, homeless girl just a year ago.
Now my fur is amazingly soft, I have filled out in the rump quite a bit,
and I'm very laid-back. My humans love me very much and treat me like a
queen. And when the door bell rings, my wimpy brothers run out the cat
door, but I stay put. I don't want to miss the action!
