Mickey
Blue Eyes was rescued from my local shelter. I was looking for a
companion because my fifteen-year-old cat had just died. We went into
the shelter and when I saw Mickey I fell in love with him. His blue eyes
and his beautiful color. I wanted him just then but he had to go to the
vet, so I had to wait until the next day. When I brought Mickey home he
slept on my bed most of the day and stayed in my room for a week but
when he got brave enough he came out of my room and met my mom's dog,
Mopar, who is a Chihuahua. They play all day together now. Mickey is so
lovable and every night I brush him (he loves to be brushed). He loves to
sleep right up close to you. Mickey is a great cat because he loyal and
is always there to cheer you up.
