Otis
is an amazing cat. First of all, he's huge - 22 pounds of the
sweetest disposition imaginable. Otis purrs louder than any outboard
motor and he always comes when I call him.
The best thing, though, was that when he became a father, he sat outside
the box I had prepared for the mom and kittens with this big grin
on his face as if to say: "Look what I did!" And then another
kitten came and I watched him bite the umbilical cord from that kitten!
A real modern kind of dad!! And he would climb into the box and curl up
with the kittens whenever the mom would get out. He slept outside the
box until the kittens were old enough to climb out on their own. He
truly is a sweetheart!
