Someone,
somewhere was silly enough to abandon Casper at the Dane County
Humane Society in Madison, Wisconsin. I guess they don't know what a
great guy they gave up. Casper has the most beautiful eyes - they are so
big and deep and reflective, no picture can do them justice. He is a
very loving boy - always willing to help me study by laying across my
books, and when he is done he knows how to make himself comfortable just
about anywhere. He is the new guy in the household, so the other cats
like to chase him, but he tolerates it all with dignity.
Casper gives the best back rubs you can imagine. He finds that one
perfect spot and works it with his paws. Then he lays down to share a
quiet moment. He waits patiently for a time when the other cats aren't
around so he can have my undivided attention. I feel sad that Casper had
to spend a month waiting at the humane society for someone to take him
home, but I'm very glad that he came to stay with us, because he is a
very special guy.
