Hi,
my name is Lollipop. I was born in New Hampshire in March of
1996. In my 4.5 short years I have become quite the national traveler
and an irreplaceable child to my new Mommy and Daddy. You ask what
makes me special? I'll explain.
I had a very loving home with my Mom Nancy, Dad Al, Big Brother Bart,
and my two sisters, Lulu (a Bernese Mountain dog) and Sugar (a Golden
Retriever). We all lived in NH and sister Lulu thought I was her own
pup, she carried me everywhere in her month, played with me and
treated my like her own baby. (I think that might explain why I am a
watch cat and meow when I hear others coming to the door and greet
Bart at the door by dropping, rolling over and demanding a belly rub
every night.)
When I was just about two my parents (Nancy and Al) separated. Mom
Nancy, and I were now on our own. Mommy was great to me. She gave me
all her love and affection. Shortly after we moved to our new house,
I lost my mom to liver disease. Here comes my life as a national
traveler. My adoring big brother Bart stepped in and moved me to his
house in Utah. I lived there with him for a year when his new job
took us to San Jose, CA. Then work took us to NY for a year when my
new Dad meet Melissa, and we traveled every weekend back and forth to
Boston.
The three of us now live in sunny Menlo Park, CA where we have some
great new digs. I have a tree house that I climb everyday, window
seats to rest on and bird watch, and I have plenty of toy mice to toss
and bat around. My favorite toy though was a gift from Mommy Melissa,
a stuffed Hello Kitty bracelet from McDonalds. My Daddy Bart claims
to be tough but not when it comes to me. I'm his baby girl. I'm his
only living tie to his Mom's memory and I know he would do anything
for me. I just meow and look at him with my big bright yellow eyes
and within seconds I have new food in my bowl and I'm being hand feed
treats.
My travels have slowed down these days except for the journeys Dad and
I travel using our web browser. My favorite event is lying, late
nights, next to Dad and that thing he keeps calling the mouse. I
like to watch that screen with the moving images. We can do that for
hours. Then I go with Daddy to bed and sleep close to him but show
Mommy I love her too by sleeping directly on her head.
I want to say thank you to my loving new Dad for giving me my
memorable adventures, a warm safe home and lots and lots of love. ...
I love you Daddy! Love Lollipop
