This
is Bear. He's two years old and lives with his mom, Jamie, in
Lake Charles, Louisiana. I was at the vet's office and Bear was in a
cage waiting to be adopted. Since I was already getting another stray
cat that day, I just played a little with Bear and started to walk
out. Well, he was busy eating but suddenly wailed at me and I
stopped. I told the receptionist to put him on layaway and that I'd be
back. Funny thing about him, he can't meow - he only squeaks. So to
hear that meow when he was a kitten was amazing. He also has only half
a tail. He was the runt of a litter and they said he was too ugly to
adopt. He's been a total joy along with his Siamese adopted sister,
Maggie. Here, he's attacking his mouse but overshot it.
