Vern
and his sister Sunny were "salvaged" from the local
animal shelter three years ago. Vern is the outdoor hunter and even
though he his declawed, seems to have no trouble decimating the local
mouse population. In the evening, he comes in exhausted, and zonks out
on the most convenient human lap. This shot was taken as he was lounging
on our front porch on an especially hot and humid summer day.
