Tycho
is a "people person" kind of a cat. All of his waking
hours seem to be devoted to exploration, whether its watching
everything that goes on outside the window, or exploring the most
remote corners of the closet, he is forever in search of more
"input". His favorite activity is riding around on my
shoulder while I do household chores. He is content to observe while I
work.
Tycho is one of only 50 Singapuras registered with CFA last year. They
are a relatively new breed in the US. Sinapuras are small and lithe,
the adult male will only weigh about eight pounds. The Singapura has a
low key way of getting exactly what it wants, somewhat like the small
child who looks at you with huge imploring eyes saying, "please,
please, please...." Before you know it you have given in. These
beguiling creatures with their large eyes and ears do not miss much
going on around them. They, like Tycho, are lively, curious,
intelligent, and love being around people or other cats.
