I
have had Lucy for less than a year but with such a great personality
she has warmed my heart forever. Lucy is very special. She is
hearing-impaired and I think she might be a bit bi-polar. Loving is
only on her terms. If she wants a petting and you're not looking she
will slap you with her big hairy paws until she gets what she
wants. Lucy likes to sit facing the wall, with the wall about an inch
away from her face and stay there for hours, often times with her
tongue sticking out. At night she "sings" a horrific cat
tune. Lucy likes hanging out in the bathroom, I think because she
likes water fresh out of the faucet (since her face is flat, it gets
wet if she has to stick it in a bowl of water.) We've since purchased
a pet water fountain that seems to keep her happy and her face
dry. Lucy shares the house with six other cats, two ferrets and an
iguana. This was Lucy at my husbands birthday party. Contrary to her
appearance, she didn't seem to mind the hat and walked around with it
on until it fell off.
