My
name is Ashley. I was found in the corner of a barn. I was small
enough to fit in a human's palm and was crying profusely (well,
wouldn't you be if you were that small and all alone?). Every morning
I hang out in the bathroom with my human while she gets ready for
work. I get especially nervous while she's in the shower and meow
quite loudly when she finally comes back out (can't she just lick
herself clean?). After my human leaves, I go around the apartment
opening all of the cupboard doors I can reach. I also have to go in
each of the cupboards just to make sure nothing's changed in there.
I'm always so happy when my human finally returns home. I usually
follow her everywhere and when she finally sits down to relax, I like
staring at her with sad eyes so she'll hold and pet me. I can't stand
it if she's talking on the phone or working on the computer. At those
times, I make sure to pester her endlessly until she finally stops.
One of the strangest things I like to do is to peer into mirrors and
reflective pictures (don't they know I'm just trying to figure out how
to get to the other side?).
