Mika
(pronounced Mee-kah) is the most beautiful, cuddly and playful
cat I have ever met! She loves to play with my two older, more
"distinguished" cats, who sometimes play too (but only when
no one is watching!). She will play with anything, from pipe cleaners
to mouse toys to the dog's identification tags. But when she's tired
she can always find a warm lap to curl up on - it may even be the
dog's! She'll do anything to get to that lap, too, she climbs our legs
with her little claws, then scrambles up into our arms. She loves to
sleep on the dog bed with our boxer Daisy, who is a bit wary- our
older cats love chasing the dog.
Whenever we come home Mika always greets us at the door with her
shrill meows, begging to be cuddled. We found her through an aunt's
friend, who breeds her Siamese cat Gracie. At first it was just a
visit to cuddle and play with the new kittens, but we ended up taking
Mika home with us! When one friend met our new addition, she loved her
so much she went and bought her two sisters, one for her (Twinkie) and
one for her parents (Suki). Another friend met Mika as well and bought
her brother (Lynx)! All the siblings are healthy, happy kitties, all
they all share the same loves: people (especially sleeping under the
covers and chewing on their toes at 4:30 AM), dogs and play. Her
favorite foods include anything on the floor, but she has finer tastes
as well: sauteed salmon, meatloaf, broiled swordfish, tuna steaks,
canned tuna, and any food that's not hers!
