Pushpush
is our first cat and we have her since she was eight weeks
old. We also have two dogs, but Push is the one that stole our hearts
and the bottom of our bed - which is her favorite resting place. What
makes her even more special now, is the fact that she recently had a
very bad accident. She was hit by a car one night and one of her back
legs was severed in the accident. She managed to make it home to us by
jumping over a fence at the bottom of our garden. She was quite
depressed when we brought her back from the vets, but only within a
matter of days, she was back to her old self - although now with only
three legs and not four. Her favorite thing to do is tease the dogs.
She does this by chasing them around the house and then letting them
chase her. She can still run faster than they can. She also loves to
sit in the back garden and stare at the birds. However, her favorite
sleeping place is still at the bottom of our bed. We have bought her
lots of toys over the last few months, but there are only two that she
will play with constantly. Her first toy is a little pink ball with a
bell inside it and her absolute favorite is a fish hanging on a string
that is attached to a stick. She just adores it. When she first had
her accident, it took her a while to learn how to grab for the fish
without falling over. But now she has that problem solved, there's no
stopping her.
