I
am writing on behalf of Ernestine, my five-month-old kitten. We
live in Jacksonville, Florida, and Ernestine was raised by a feral
mother. It took me two weeks to gain her confidence, and now she won't
leave me alone! She loves me so much that she walks on my keyboard
whenever I'm on the computer. Ernestine runs headlong into walls
simply to provide entertainment to her human friends. She is quite
anxious to cash in on her 15 minutes of fame before she is over the
hill because she saw all the other has-been kitties in the alley and
does not wish to end up like them, sad and homeless. She hopes to
parlay her selection into a lucrative cat food endorsement contract,
and promises to devote her time to promoting peace, love and spaying
and neutering after she hits the big time.
