Mondo
is a very special cat. He is a from the new Savannah Breed and
is a first generation (which means his father is an African Serval).
We purchased Mondo when he was ten weeks old and from the moment we
got him home and watched him run out of his carrier and get into
everything, we knew we were going to have our hands full. Immediately
he picked up walking on a leash. By his fourth month he was fetching
toys, walking at the park, going for rides in the car and I could go
on and on.
Mondo is extremely intelligent and learns things very quickly. He is
almost able to open round door handles. He loves to jump, leap and
chase my Domestic House Cat around. There is never a dull day!!!! Even
as recent as last night, Mondo climbed the stairs up to the attic and
just didn't want to come down. It took several favorite toys and a lot
of convincing to talk him back out. He goes to PetSmart with me (where
he is a hit) and is extremely personable.
Mondo is a beautiful animal (as you can see from the picture) and is
unique with the Savannah Breed because he has a black rather than
brown nose. He is loved by all and loves all, and I am a very proud
parent.
