This
is Newcombe. He was adopted from the Toronto Humane Society when
he was just three months old. There were lots of very cute cats to
choose from, but as soon as I saw his black nose and chin I was sold.
The fact that he was snoozing in his cage while all the others were
meowing should have been a hint that he is the most relaxed cat in the
world! He is afraid of nothing and loves everyone he meets. In fact,
he's a bit of a tramp because he will cuddle with anyone - he's not at
all picky. There are lots of things that make Newcombe special, but I
think he's most special because he's the worst jumper in the whole cat
kingdom. I don't think he knows he's a cat! He is forever
over-shooting his target, wobbling along a window sill and slipping
off tables and chairs. Needless to say he makes us laugh a lot. His
favorite toys are the crinkly catnip rat, crumpled up magazine
inserts, and peanuts in the shell. He also loves watching the red
squirrels in the yard but is happiest when he's curled up on the
nearest lap. He is by far the best cat in the world and we love him to
death.
