This
is Nina! She's a Russian Blue and the best cat in the universe!!
Talk about your swanky kitty! This
one is quite the lady. Nina, also called beena, lil' girl, and momma,
was undoubtedly a ballerina, egyptian princess, supermodel, and lounge
singer in her previous lives. She's always poised and posing, and
loves nothing more than to strut across the room, especially when we
have guests over. She also makes sure to spend quality 'lap time' on
each houseguest that visits. (We once had eight of our friends over and
she spent at least ten minutes sitting on each and every guests
lap!!).
Nina is also one of the most affectionate kitties I've ever come
across. She purrs like a lawnmower and expects that someone pet her at
all times. She also likes to accompany everyone to the bathroom. It's
quite bizarre but she loves being in the bathroom while others are
there, especially when my roommate or I are putting on makeup.
I love her forever! She sleeps on my pillow every night, and wakes me
up in the morning with little kisses. When I'm sad or worried, she
always knows and comes over to lay on my belly. She purrs lightly and
somehow magically puts my soul at rest. Nina is also very courageous!
I once left the window open to my apartment, and she jumped out three
stories to the ground! I was devastated because I thought I'd never
see her again, only to find out that she ran across the street and
spent the night with our neighbor's cat, Charlie! Although they
haven't seen each other since, I constantly see Nina sitting at the
windowsill gazing out with that dreamy love look in her eye!
