Vanyel
was adopted from a cat shelter along with his brother and
he is by far one of the most interesting cats we have ever
owned. Someone dropped off him, and two of his brothers along
with their tortie Siamese mom on the shelter's door step. We saw
them and just had to take them in! It turns out, Vanyel, will be
near fifteen pounds according to our vet and where as his much smaller
brother is "wild" about the out doors and is very curious. Vanyel
is this big "scary" push over! Vanyel may be big but he certainly
is not the bully of the family.
Vanyel likes to try and take showers with us and is obsessed with
the sink! Every morning I find him in the sink as I try to get
my contacts in my eyes. He also talks to you continuously! which
can be good since he likes to play on the stairs! Being one of
the four cats in our home he holds his own and is slowly becoming
the biggest, yet he doesn't attack our chinchillas or our birds
and is even gentle with our plants!
The best thing ever is to come home and have this big guy climb
up to "help" you read purring loud enough to hear him in another
room. Once he has successfully gotten you to "focus" on him he
rolls over to have his belly scratched and settles in to the
crook of your arms!
