Ziggy
gets his name from his unique "z" shaped tail... the poor thing
had his tail accidentally trapped in a door when he was very young. It
looks odd but does not seem to worry him, just makes him a special
boy!!!
Apart from the obvious rhyming with "piggy" (which could describe the
way he eats) his name could equally apply to both his tail shape and
his mentality!!! He is around six (human) years old and has just moved
to his new home in Horsham West Sussex, England, where he gets the run
of the house and as much food as he can eat (greedy old Zig!!!). His
previous house, whilst loving, was shared with five other cats and
poor old Ziggy did not get a look in when it came to food time. It got
so bad that he slept in a cardboard box outside most of last summer
because the other cats bullied him. He's a special pet because after
all his troubles, he can still be the most loving chap to be next to
on the sofa!! Oh, and he does not meow... all he can do is a
"cuckoo"... or more like a "eee... oohh"... ahhh Ziggy!!!
