This
is of my two kitties, Mele and Kaliki. They are nine months old in
this picture, and we live on the Big Island of Hawaii. They have a
black brother named Maka who was playing on the floor while his
siblings slept.
These little angels are special to me because last Christmas was the
first Christmas I spent along since my husband abandoned me the
previous year. I wasn't looking forward to it. And on top of that, my
cat, Earl Grey, had been missing for over six weeks. It looked like a
bad time. Then on Christmas Eve, my neighbors drove in the driveway
and said they had a present for me. Three little heads popped up over
the dash board. It was my little angels. They too had been
abandoned... at the local dump. How could someone leave to die such
precious beings?!!? Anyway, I fell in love on the spot and they became
my new family (along with my black labs, Samson and Delilah). But
that's not all... Earl Grey came home in May!! He and the kitties are
best buds!
