This
is Seamus. Her breed?...um, none particular that I know of, but
Seamus agrees that doesn't really matter. We met Seamus at a cat
shelter, after her previous human had to relinquish her with great
regret. We can tell Seamus was treated very well. Seamus is actually a
she - the familiar tale of a young male who suddenly becomes rather
obviously not! But Seamus knows her name, so we agreed to keep it.
Anyway, Seamus agreed to come home with us - in fact, she swatted back
her kennel-mates so we couldn't get near them even to say hello.
Seamus picked up some doggie habits from her previous house - she
likes to run to the door when we get home, her tail sort of wagging,
and she likes to throw herself at your feet and roll over onto her
back. Her favorite snack is tuna. She knows how to catch mice, but
not what to do with them: once we found her using a mouse as a pillow
for her head - the mouse was unharmed but petrified with terror. We
had lived in our house for about six months before Seamus came to live
with us, but it didn't really feel like home until she moved in.
