My
little Cheddar Cheese is the most adorable cat. He is great
company. Whenever I call him and talk to him he meows right back. He
loves to be around people and he loves TLC. He prances around our
apartment looking for someone to pet him and talk to him. We got
Cheddar at twelve weeks old. He was very shy and scared all the time.
Once he got used to us he became a cat lovers dream. When he has been
sleeping for a while which he does often, he will get up and whine.
It's like he's saying "hey guys, I'm up so come pet me." If we don't
pet him right away... he comes up to me and pounces on my lap, and
won't stop staring at me until I pet him. We also have other cats and
when they are on my lap and Cheddar see this he comes right over and
gently pushes them out of the way so he gets the attention. And since
Cheddar is much bigger then all the rest of the cats he is successful
in pushing them out of the way.
When Cheddar gets excited and energetic he will bolt around the house
and up the wood on the door ways. He is younger than a few of our five
cats and he has the same parents as my oldest cat, Pumpkin. They also
look exactly alike except for a slight weight difference. Whenever
Cheddar is around and wants to cuddle, he finds Pumpkin and buries
his face in his neck or stomach. It is so adorable, since Pumpkin is
his older brother and such a calm tolerant cat he just ignores Cheddar
and continues to sleep. So basically, wherever Pumpkin is, Cheddar is
right next to him!
