As
you can see from this photo, Bruiser isn't like other cats. He is
always surprising me with new and bizarre behaviors, like the time he
sat down in front of the fridge and suddenly jumped straight to the
top - a good six feet straight up. He's got the loudest voice of any
cat I've ever met, and he rounds out the volume with loads of
intonation. Most of the time Bruiser tries to act like a tough guy
(hence the name), but he's really a momma's boy. Bruiser was a stray
until he landed on my doorstep a couple of years ago in the wake of
Hurricane Floyd, and he's been one of my best pals since.
