About Us
Noah, the Cat of the Day
Name: Noah
Age: Five months old
Gender: Male
Kind: Orange Tabby Cat
Home: Newbury Park, California, USA

We brought Noah home for my hubby's birthday. Noah lived with two children, a dog, two adult cats and his nine brothers and sisters (there were two litters). Because he got to be around so many people and animals at such an early age, he is very social. He likes to follow us around the house wherever we go, especially into the bathroom. After we shower, he goes into the bath tub to investigate and drink the remaining water from the faucet. Noah likes to drink water from my glass every time I get a drink and always wants to try what I am eating. He has learned a lot about what he likes to eat from mommy! Noah loves "Kix" cereal because he can bat them around the floor and chase them, when he works up an appetite, he eats them! Noah also loves mashed potatoes and the salmon my hubby makes on the barbecue. Although he enjoys the tiny amount of "people food" and kitty food we give him, he would much rather play and be around us than eat any day!

Noah is very special to us, because he is so loving. He loves to cuddle when we get home and at bed time and even cries when he can't find us in the house. When I have to leave for school at night or when my hubby goes to check the mail, he sits and cries until we come home. He does however like it when we return from getting the mail because he gets to shred all the junk mail and envelopes! Even when we take Noah to the vet, he likes to be held and loved by all of the "girls" there. As soon as we walk in the door, they all say "Hi Noah!", he is quite the friendly little guy! When he feels particularly cuddly, he likes to sit on my legs while I get ready for work.

Noah lives with his "sister" Faith, our Dutch rabbit. At times, he jumps into her play area for a good chase or just a quick nap. His favorite animal to play with is Otis, the dachshund next door. Noah chases him around and around until they both are too tired. Although Noah enjoys playing with the other animals in his life, he doesn't think he is an animal, he thinks he's "people." Everything Noah does shows his personality to us, from sitting on the keyboard or chasing the mouse/curser while we are on the computer to using my arm (or my pillow) for a pillow when he is cuddling. He is such a very special kitty to us, a true source of happiness. Here are two pictures of Noah. This picture is of his favorite place to be when we are getting ready for bed; in the bathtub with "Rubber Ducky."
