This
is Big Kitty, although she wasn't always called Big Kitty. When I
rescued her from the pound she was just a little light-orange Kitty.
That was twelve years ago. Now she lives the life that all cats should
live. She sleeps on the couch, bed, lap, catpost, etc., or wherever
there is a sunny spot. She gets an occasional treat, plays in the
back yard, (and doesn't jump the fence). She purrs almost always. She
is the bearer of joy. If you're feeling down, she will bring you up
with a squeak and a purr. If you don't pay attention to her, a little
nibble on your foot will remind you that she's there. She resides with
my father now and brings him as much joy as she did for me.
