Tommie
and her brother (Jerry) have been part of my family and my only
two 'kids' since they were rescued outside my parent's house at five
weeks old about ten years ago. They have moved with me from Miami,
Florida to Orlando, Florida, to New York City and finally to New Jersey.
They are family! Tommie, a female calico, is very much a petite female
cat. She is sweet, shy and is a daddy's girl only sitting on my lap when
on the couch. She is a shadow (ten pounds) of her sibling brother (seventeen
pounds). We have our morning gathering in the bathroom for a brushing,
followed by a drink of water from the sink just before I shave (morning
ritual for both of us). I'm then followed around the house while
dressing for work until breakfast for Tommie & Jerry is served. In this
picture she is sitting under a skylight in the sun, on her favorite den
chair.
