After
losing our second orange cat, we, as a family, decided not to get
another orange cat. But, a family friend told us about their litter of
kittens that they had, urging us to come and see. Being the adoring cat
fans that we are, we took a look, and a little more. A little tiger
stripped girl had come in to the family that day. We couldn't decide on
a name for her, and at her first vet appointment, we still had not
decided, so we named her both. Katie-Leah. Too bad Katie-Leah was a male
cat! We had no trouble naming him now. Lance Armstrong had just battled
cancer and won the Tour De France, so his name was Lance.
Lance, a.k.a. The Big Lug, has now grown to sixteen pounds and is purring
machine. He's pretty famous also. Our neighbors met Robin Williams, and
they were chatting about my cat Lance (they were watching Lance
Armstrong race.) No matter what, I wouldn't trade the world for this
wonderful bucket of love!
