Spike
was born in Victoria, British Columbia on June 10, 2000, they day
we arrived to visit. He was the only kitten the mother would let my wife
pick up. He came to Edmonton several weeks later and has been special to
us ever since. He can be a terror or the biggest "love-bug" around. When
he wants to cuddle, he will jump up in my lap and just "flop"-expecting
that you will catch him. When I go to bed and he wants to "retire" he
will prance around my head until I lift up the comforter and let him
crawl under and curl up. When you pet him and he starts to purr, he gets
such a drippy nose! He joins our other two cats, Buster (from Andrew,
Alberta) and Schooch (an SPCA reclamation). They all are the best buds
and you can find any combination of two or three cats either wrestling
or sleeping at any time. The photo was taken when he was only a few
months old, he has grown quite a lot since then!
