I
had to say good-bye to my best friend of 18+ years, but her memory
will always live on in my heart. Mandy was an odd-eyed white Turkish
Angora, who loved to follow me around the house, drink from the
bathroom sink, and play with Q-tips. She will be greatly missed around
my home, but I would not trade one single day of our time away. I had
Mandy since she was only four weeks old, and she was my best friend for
eighteen years.
Mandy followed me everywhere in the house, and liked to go camping
with me here in Wisconsin. She curled up with me in my arms at night
when I go to bed, and was the first one to greet me in the mornings.
She loved to play hide & seek, and her favorite toy was a small
realistic-looking mouse.
Mandy had been showing her age. She did not run around the house, or
attempt to jump up onto high places anymore. She walked very gingerly
due to the arthritis that was starting to set in her joints, and
became very thin.
Thank You, Mandy, for always being there when I really needed a good
friend all those years. Thank you for all your unconditional love and
faithful companionship. She was a wonderful, and I will always
remember her.
