Quigley, the Cat of the Day
Name: Quigley
Age: One and a half years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Devon Rex
Home: New Orleans, Louisiana, USA

This is Quigley. Quigley is a red tabby and white Devon Rex. He is about a year and a half old. He is a rescue we found through Petfinder.org. As a Devon Rex, he has a rex coat, primarily down hairs with few guard or awn hairs that are shorter than usual. His coat is wavy and very soft. I have a cat allergy and Rex cats are sometimes tolerated by us allergic people. He causes me no problems at all. Quigley is a fantastic guy - very affectionate, purrs almost constantly, gets along great with our dogs. He waves his tail like a dog even. He loves to play and loves to be around people. He is like velcro which is typical of a Devon Rex. He has a quite unique voice. He doesn't meow, he chirps! When begging for food, which happens frequently, he uses his silent meow. It looks like he is saying meow, but someone hit the "mute button." It has the effect of melting the hearts of the people in the house. We are so lucky to have him in our life.
