About Us
Cleo, the Cat of the Day
Name: Cleo
Age: Five years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Tabby
Home: Cambridge, Ontario, Canada

Cleo is a tabby, (see the huge M on the forehead), and was rescued by our son and his fiancée from the roof of her apartment building, at the tender age of two months. She was presented to us on our anniversary, to keep our aging dog, Winston, company. Cleo took a little while to feel at home, but eventually came to rule the roost! Cleo's arrival made the passing of our lab a little less painful, and each day this "cat with an attitude" has made us both so happy she arrived on our doorstep. She seems to know when her "man" is due home, and sits in the kitchen window waiting to meow her welcome. The attitude is one of being very territorial, she won't let another cat in the house. Our son and his wife along with their two house cats now rescue and raise kittens for a local pet placement agency, and our daughter now has two as well. Cleo is the greatest "easier of tension" after a full work day, with her huge eyes, and "head butt" welcome home.
